Linking up for Tail Wagging Tuesday!
This weeks topic: Favorite Instagram Photos:

I don't use Instagram very often, but here are a few of the photos I've added on there.

Hanging out in the sun on her "pillow".

Kisses. Up close and personal.

Hanging out on the front porch. Being the "nosy neighbor"!

Showing off her ridiculously long tounge.

And hanging out with her momma! :)

Happy heart! :)

The College Days

Talking about textbooks the other day reminded me of those wonderful college days.
AND it reminded me that I've never talked about college on my blog. Does any of my readers even know where I went?

{crickets}

Exactly. So, let's talk about college.
(Not the classroom part, just the fun part)

I started college in the Fall of 2001 at Christian Brothers University (a private university in Memphis, TN).
I was a Marketing major, Behavioral Sciences minor, a sorority girl, and also the Vice President of the Senior Graduating Class of 2005! Hello, resume booster!
I attended for four years and graduated with my BSBA in Marketing.

Here are some pictures from those college days...
Bid Day with my sorority sisters

SAE toga party with sorority sisters
I made my own toga from an old short sleeve maxi dress. Pretty, isnt it?

SAE Paddy Murphy (20's party) with my bff Richard.
I remember being really excited this day because we rented a stretched Hummer limo with a fireplace in it. High class.

Senior year Homecoming with my CBU BFF Amanda.
I met her during Orientation before college started and we were inseperable ever since.
We would do random things all the time like going through the McDonalds drive through demanding tacos (like a 5 minute conversation about tacos) and then drive off laughing. Ha.
Definitely miss the Jax/Amanda college days.
*PS. Please notice our amazing matching outfits and shoes. haha.

But college wasn't all fun in games...as I did work all through college and moved to full time my last two years of school. Class was usually 8am-noon, then I would eat lunch with friends than go to work from 2pm-10pm. Which means I had to miss out on alot of fun college parties.

But on the bright side I got to work with Amanda! We were both in sales at First Tennessee Bank and very competitive with each other...
...which seemed to pay off when we both won the Annual Golden Circle Award for our sales accomplishments and got sent to PUERTO RICO for a week!
Here's us at our awards ceremony in sunny Puerto Rico.
Such amazing views.

THEN....after graduating from CBU in May 2005, I enrolled in Graduate School at Union University (Jackson, TN) to get my MBA. (Nothing exciting to report about Grad School since I had no life as I worked full time 8-5pm and then attended class 6pm-10pm.) BUT after 2 years I graduated with my MBA.

I was 24 years old with a BSBA and an MBA. Not too shabby.
And a month after I graduated...I moved to Cincinnati.
That's another story.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm loving...March Madness. I'm completely addicted with keeping up with the games and checking my bracket! (My bracket has Kansas winning it all! Eek, hope they win!)

I'm loving...these dresses & shirts that I just ordered from F21online. (Now, lets just hope they look this cute on me!)

Hummmm. I must have a thing for stripes, huh!

I'm loving...SPINNING. I used to spin 3x a week for the past couple years but I've put it aside for a few months now (and by a few months, I mean like almost a year!). I finally made myself go on Monday and I felt sooooo much better. Definitely a different feeling than pilates or PB gives me!
I'm back on the SPINNING wagon! Woohoo!

AND I'm loving...that The Bachelor is OVER! I couldn't watch one more second of boring Ben.
Although I kinda think Bachelorette Emily will be just as boring. Agreed?

Hope everyone has a great hump day!!

Textbooking

On a daily basis I get asked questions about financials/stocks/savings/etc.
Why?  I think because 1) I am in the financial industry so my friends & family assume I know things (sometimes I do and sometimes I don't!) and 2) because I'm always couponing, obsessively checking my bank accounts and always finding great deals to save money.

Campus Book Rentals is one of those great deals.

For all my textbook-reading followers, who waste all their money on books, Campus Book Rentals is a great way to save money by renting books versus buying them.  Have you heard of them?

They save 40-90% off of bookstore prices. For instance The Essentials of Marketing Textbook is $102.95 in stores, but at Campus Book Rentals they have it for $38.40 for a Quarter. Click here to see the large differences! That's a lot of savings!

And not only that, they offer free shipping both ways, let you highlight in the book...AND they also donate to Operation Smile with each textbook that is rented. (happy heart!)

So not only are you getting a great deal on a book, you are helping the children too.
Now you know where to get your next textbook. Glad I could help! :)

St. Patricks Day 2012

We all got lucky that St. Patricks Day fell on a SATURDAY this year! It was fun to dedicate an entire day to drinking. watching March Madness basketball and having fun with friends.
Our friends Cicely & Dan had a party at their house this year and we all got there bright and early to start the festivities.
