I had a double dose of Angel Food cake this weekend. Once on Friday with my Patriotic Trifle Dessert and again Sunday night with this two ingredient Pineapple Angel Food Cake.
I saw this "recipe" (if that's what you want to call it) on Pinterest a few weeks ago and finally decided to try it. All you do is combine the Angel Food cake mix with one can of crushed pinapples. Mix well. Pour in 9x13 pan (or two loaf pans, or cupcake liners) and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until top is lightly golden.
It definitely worked and was pretty tasty, however, crushed pineapples = little chunks of pineapples in every bite.
I would have enjoyed it a lot more if those little chunks were gone (maybe I'll blend them next time before mixing them). But all in all, it was quite a delicious treat for being so easy!
*Pinterest also has recipes for Angel Food Cake Mix combined with Lemon Pie Filling to make Lemon Bars! Mmmm. I might have to try that next! :)

Yumm! I love pineapple, so I imagine I would like the chunks. Or is it just too much?
