Talking about textbooks the other day reminded me of those wonderful college days.
AND it reminded me that I've never talked about college on my blog. Does any of my readers even know where I went?
{crickets}
Exactly. So, let's talk about college.
(Not the classroom part, just the fun part)
(Not the classroom part, just the fun part)
I started college in the Fall of 2001 at Christian Brothers University (a private university in Memphis, TN).
I was a Marketing major, Behavioral Sciences minor, a sorority girl, and also the Vice President of the Senior Graduating Class of 2005! Hello, resume booster!

I attended for four years and graduated with my BSBA in Marketing.
Here are some pictures from those college days...

SAE toga party with sorority sisters
I made my own toga from an old short sleeve maxi dress. Pretty, isnt it?
SAE Paddy Murphy (20's party) with my bff Richard.
I remember being really excited this day because we rented a stretched Hummer limo with a fireplace in it. High class.
Senior year Homecoming with my CBU BFF Amanda.
I met her during Orientation before college started and we were inseperable ever since.
We would do random things all the time like going through the McDonalds drive through demanding tacos (like a 5 minute conversation about tacos) and then drive off laughing. Ha.
Definitely miss the Jax/Amanda college days.
But college wasn't all fun in games...as I did work all through college and moved to full time my last two years of school. Class was usually 8am-noon, then I would eat lunch with friends than go to work from 2pm-10pm. Which means I had to miss out on alot of fun college parties.
But on the bright side I got to work with Amanda! We were both in sales at First Tennessee Bank and very competitive with each other...
...which seemed to pay off when we both won the Annual Golden Circle Award for our sales accomplishments and got sent to PUERTO RICO for a week!
Here's us at our awards ceremony in sunny Puerto Rico.
Such amazing views.
THEN....after graduating from CBU in May 2005, I enrolled in Graduate School at Union University (Jackson, TN) to get my MBA. (Nothing exciting to report about Grad School since I had no life as I worked full time 8-5pm and then attended class 6pm-10pm.) BUT after 2 years I graduated with my MBA.
I was 24 years old with a BSBA and an MBA. Not too shabby.
And a month after I graduated...I moved to Cincinnati.
That's another story.
That's another story.
